Additional Information:PORCH ON BRICK PIERSPORCH DOOR W/ SIDELIGHTS [Date Cnst:(RON LARSON)] 2016- "This vernacular style house was built for Ole Midthun when he retired from farming and moved to town. The Midthuns lived here until the 1940's. Originally, the exterior was stucco. Longtime McFarland resident Jeanette Egner owns the house in 2015." -"Historic McFarland: A Walking Tour" booklet, Third printing, published by the McFarland Historical Society, (March 2016). 2021 - Resurveyed. This one-and-one-half story front-gabled house was built in 1922. It has a rectangular footprint, concrete foundation, aluminum siding, and a front gable roof with side dormers. The first story of the façade is dominated by a full-width enclosed porch with replacement windows, a screen door with sidelights, and a hipped roof. Gabled wall dormers are centrally located on each of the side elevations. Behind the house to the east is a one-stall detached garage.
