It is irregular in plan with a concrete-covered masonry foundation, asbestos shingle siding, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan. The front-gabled building mass contains two 2-over-2 windows at the first story and one 1-over-1 window at the second story; the second story window has a metal faux balcony around the bottom half. A 1-story hipped-roof porch is located in the ell. The porch has wooden supports and wooden steps off of the east side. Wooden trelliswork has been added around the porch base. A projecting bay window is located along the east side of the house." -"STH 38/Northwestern Ave/State St", WisDOT #2290-17-00, Prepared by GLARC (Gail Klein), (2011). |
