| Additional Information: | 2011- "This 2 1/2 story Cross-gabled house was constructed in 1909. It is irregular in plan with a concrete foundation, vinyl siding, and an asphalt-shingled cross-gable roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan due to a wraparound, 1-story porch with a corner entrance. The porch wraps around the full width of the north elevation and the corner of the east elevation; the porch has a simple wooden railing and its flat roof is supported by standardized cut lumber supports. The front elevation is dominated by a projecting pedimented bay. Inside the pediment is a small arched 1-over-1 window. Other windows throughout the house appear to be 1-over-1 double-hung of various sizes. A brick chimney with decorative brickwork protrudes from the roof." -"STH 38/Northwestern Ave/State St", WisDOT #2290-17-00, Prepared by GLARC (Gail Klein), (2011). |
