Additional Information: | 2011- "This 2-story Gabled Ell house was constructed in 1906. It is rectangular in plan with a coursed stone foundation, brick walls, and an asphalt-shingled hipped and gable roof. The building consists of a front-gabled projecting bay and a wider hipped-roof mass. The front elevation faces northeast and is asymmetrical in plan with a 2-story, recessed porch spanning the width of the ell. The porch is of modern standardized lumber construction with concrete block support piers; it is accessed at the first story by a concrete stoop with metal railings. Windows are large 2-pane picture and 1-over-1 double hung. A square of decorative inlaid brickwork is located in the front elevation of the projecting bay, centered between the first and second story windows." -"STH 38/Northwestern Ave/State St", WisDOT #2290-17-00, Prepared by GLARC (Gail Klein), (2011). |
