The two-story, wood frame house displays an exuberance of wood detailing including an applied decorative projecting tower. It rests on a red sandstone foundation and is situated atop a prominent rise overlooking the city. No other residence in the area is as finely crafted or detailed as this house, despite serious alterations to the interior.
