Additional Information:The Berkley Building on Silver Spring Drive was constructed by Wisconsin Builders Inc. in 1961. Its original street level retail tenants included Bay National Trunk, Andre’s Furs, Customcraft by Allen, Demuir’s Maternities, Capper-Wendland Professional Pharmacists, and Stock Brothers Men’s Wear. Second level offices space was originally occupied by Herslof Opticians, Dr. Robert S. Anderson Podiatrist, Dr. John J. Brady Obstetrics & Gynecology, James K. Heller, Dr. Donald G. Ives Neurology-Psychiatry, Dr. Leander R. Jennings Orthodontist, Dr. W. J. Kemmet Dental Surgeon, Loewi & Company Investment Securities, Ryter Corporation, Dr. Neil Thompson Pediatrics, and Norman Nestler’s branch of the Wisconsin National Life Insurance Company. Throughout the building’s history, a wide variety of offices and retailers have been located there.
