SEE 409 & 421 E COURT ST FOR CHURCH (AHI #86915) AND FACILITY (AHI #18372). BUILT IN 1930 AND RENOVATED IN 1978. "Trinity Church was founded west of the Rock River in 1844, and its second parish church, Christ Episcopal, was built on this block in 1861. In 1925, the two parishes merged, and this new English Gothic Revival Style edifice was finished in 1931. Executed in random coursed ashlar, and trimmed with polished granite, a square bell tower with a crenellated parapet and a pointed Gothic arch are distinctive features."
