Additional Information: | STEEPLY PITCHED PAVILION ROOF ON OCTAGONAL CNR TOWERRETURNED GABLE EAVESORIGINALLY CLAPBOARD SIDINGSTAINED GLASS IN 1ST FLR WINDOW REPRESENTATIVE HOUSE TYPEIN SPOONER 2018 - This c.1900 Queen Anne-style house currently functions as a law office. It is two-and-one-half stories in height with an irregular footprint, stone foundation, asbestos siding, and a steeply pitched pyramidal roof with lower cross gables. At the southwest corner of the building is a two-story tower with a pyramidal roof. A hipped roof cupola with clerestory windows is centered atop the pyramidal roof. The primary entrance to the building is on a one-story, enclosed, hipped roof porch on the west-facing façade. Three-over-one sash windows wrap the three exterior sides of the porch. Windows on the remainder of the house are one-over-one vinyl replacements. The cross gables feature cornice returns. |
