Additional Information: | THIN BRICK SILL, LINTEL, & ATTIC COURSESCAST IRON IONIC COLUMN AT ENTRANCEMOULDED CORNICECONCRETE COPING ON SIMPLE PARAPETBOARD & BATTEN SIDING OVER STOREFRONT WINDOW [Date Cnst:(ASSESSOR'S RECORD)] 2021: This one-story, commercial vernacular building, historically known as American Legion Post 418, was constructed ca. 1910. It is of brick masonry construction with a rectangular plan on a concrete foundation. The roof is flat with sloped parapets on each elevation, an interior brick chimney, and a metal cornice. Simple brick corbelling accents the walls. The side (west) windows have been infilled with wood, as has the front (south) facade storefront. An off-center entry porch is set to the left of the facade and features a single iron, ionic column and a hanging light. The door is modern and windowless. |
