NOTES
Additional Information:BRICK CORBELLING AND PILASTERS DECORATE PLAIN INDUSTRIAL BLDGS. PAIRED 6/6 WINDOWS UNDER SEGMENTAL ARCH LINTELS. INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX OF SEVERAL LOW BRICK AND WOOD BLDGS, 3 STORY BRICK OFFICE AT CNR OF THIRD AND GRAND AVE.. ONE OF OLDEST OPERATING FOUNDRY AND MFG SITES IN SUPERIOR. NOTE: THIS COMPLEX WAS STILL LAREGELY INTACT WHEN SURVEYED IN 2019 AND CONSISTED OF A MIX OF BRICK-CLAD AND CLAPBOARD-CLAD HISTORIC ELEMENTS PLUS TWO LARGE QUONSET HUT BUILDINGS. IN 2021, HOWEVER, A NEW SURVEY IN 2021 FOUND THAT LARGE PORTIONS OF THE BRICK-CLAD ELEMENTS DATING TO 1895 HAD BEEN DEMOLISHED SINCE 2019 AND ALL THE OTHER ORIGINAL ELEMENTS, EXCEPTING THE QUONSET HUT BUILDINGS, HAD BEEN RESIDED IN VINYL OR SOME OTHER NEW CLADDING MATERIAL. IN ADDITION, MANY OF THE ORIGINAL WINDOW OPENINGS HAVE NOW BEEN COVERED OVER WHILE THE OTHERS HAVE HAD THEIR ORIGINAL WINDOWS REPLACED WITH MODERN ONES. 2021: not resurveyed.
