Additional Information:In 1874, a framed wing was added and a major addition was added to the west in the early 1990s. To the rear of the house stands the original horse barn. One of the original Milton public wells is still visible on this property.

"...this is the second lime-mortar home that Allen built in Milton. It was built in 1853, and is unique among the Milton lime-mortar houses because its facade is on the long side. Allen's son Jonathon played an important role inthe Underground Railroad. A frame wing was added to the rear of the house in 1874, and an addition to the west int he 1990's."
