Additional Information:Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 as an early example of grout construction, a method of construction developed by Joseph Goodrich in Milton in 1844.

2013: IN RECENT YEARS, THE BUILDING HAS BEEN RENOVATED FOR A WINERY OPERATION AND BISTRO STYLE RESTAURANT.

"Built circa 1850 by John Alexander as a wheat warehouse, this lime-mortar building was used as a blacksmith shop, service station, and warehouse for the Sunnyview Apple Orchard...this building was given to the Milton Historical Society by the heirs of the Davidson-Skelly estate."
