The original Botanical Garden featured Annual, Perennial, Rock, Rose and Peony Gardens. Subsequent additions to the Botanical Gardens include the Trial Garden in 1950, Herb Garden in 1953, Bog Walk in 1966, and the Daylily Walk and Shrub Rose Collection in 1972. Visitors walk through the gardens using gravel footpaths and paved walkways. Reflective pools, fountains, and a pergola are located throughout the designed landscape of the gardens.
