Additional Information:The house appears on the 1875 Illustrated Historical Atlas of Sheboygan County. The map indicates George Schactner as the owner. By 1902, the property was owned by Rudolph Fick, and included 79.51 acres. Since the mid-twentieth century, the Machut Family has retained ownership. In recent years, portions of the property have been sold off for the enhancement of STH 23, and the construction of a gas station, located directly to the north.
