| Additional Information: | 2010- "This newly inventoried, Contemporary utilitarian building is located on the north side of University Avenue, just west of its intersection with Tomahawk Trail. The one-story building is composed of two sections, with a central, basement-level connection. The Goldsmith Building faces south and is set on a rise overlooking University Avenue. It rests on a slightly raised, poured concrete foundation and is faced with random ashlar stone. The flat roof displays metal coping. The principal entrance consists of a pair of wooden doors. Glassblock transoms and aluminum, double-hung, one-over-one windows are located on either side of the entryway, and possess stone sills. A nameplate is centrally located above the entryway. The building retains good integrity." - "CTH MS (University Ave), Allen Boulevard-N Segoe Rd", WisDOT ID #5992-08-12(79), Prepared by Rachel E Bankowitz and Elizabeth L Miller (2010). |
