The house was sold last year and, as of July 1979, is off its foundation and ready to be moved to private property. The farmhouse is two and one-half stories, cross-gabled, and of frame construction. Most recently, it housed student summer interns for the DNR. The original stone foundation remains. Storage #00080 is a large barn. With a gambrel roof and vertical board siding, it rests on a heavy (and heavily mortared) stone foundation. Storage #00079 is a long frame machine shed. |
