This armory was constructed in 1958 by the A.W. Jeske Construction Company. The building was designed by the State of Wisconsin Bureau of Engineering. Prior to the construction of the subject armory, the unit drilled at the Turner Hall located at Smith and Elizabeth streets.The unit that first occupied the new armory was Company K, 426th Infantry Regiment.
