Additional Information: | One and one-half story Craftsman house built c. 1920 by Lawrence Peasley, who ran a livery stable business out of a barn behind the house. The barn is no longer extant. 2009- "This one and one-half story front-gabled house was constructed circa 1920 for Lawrence Peasley. The house is raised on a painted block basement, is clad in painted clapboards, and has wood trim, eaves, and skirting boards. The house has a gabled side dormer. The left front corner of the first story is cut away to create a covered porch, which is supported on square piers set atop a clapboard-sided half wall. A paired six-over-one window is present in the first story. Above, in the front gable, two six-over-one windows are present. Other windows in the house are six-over-one and three-over-one double hungs. A one-story addition projects from the side of the house and contains the side door." -"CTH KB: CTH R to Prospect St", WisDOT#4538-04-71, Prepared by Justin Miller, (2009). |
