Additional Information: | This house was built in 1952 at 801 Delafield Street by Walter & Helen Dick. Walter was employed as the City of Waukesha Engineer. The building was moved to the subject location in the mid-1970s due to the widening of Delafield Street. This 1-story Ranch house waas constructed in 1952. It is rectangular in plan with stone veneered walls and a low-pitched, asphalt-shingled, side-gabled roof. The front elevation faces southwest and is asymmetrical in plan with a central front door, a large, single-pane picture window to the west and asmall single-pane windows just below the roofline to the east. The northwestern end of the building is comprised of a wall of 1-over-1 windows with the wall space above and below clad in vertical boards and clapboards, respectively. |
