Burghardt owned A&K Beverage Products Company in Kenosha and, later, Matty's Lagoon. Following their divorce the residence was sold to Claus William Anderson who operated the Red Roof Tavern in the basement in the late 1940s/early 1950s. Later sold to Clement & Joan Jorgenson in 1954. Mediterranean Revival style with good integrity and interior features. |
