Additional Information:Designed by Robert Meyer, a WWII veteran and member of the Walter Miller Amvet Post #5. The bronze sculpture, fabricated by Robert Meyer and placed on top of the monument, was stolen in the early 1970s. The flagpole was removed in May of 2009.

Inscription reads "In Memory of those who gave their lives in World War Two".

Currently being restored (2009).
