Additional Information: | People's Bank was established in 1916 and liquidated in 1934 following the 1933 federal banking moratorium. The subject building was built in 1926 by contractor, Frank Eger. 2009- "This one-story, brick building has a modern front-gabled roof installed over both the subject building and 240 Broadway. The primary facade features an entrance framed by simple brick pilasters that support a limestone hood. A recessed rectangular panel is located over this entrance. Window openings contain double-hung, wooden sash windows and feature limestone lintels and sills. The subject building was constructed in 1926 as the People's Bank by contractor Frank Eger.
