| Additional Information: | Reported to be a former rectory of St. Paul Parish moved to the present location, although this couldn't be verified. Former residents include Elzaa & Mathilda Klister and Gary & Myrna Ebert. 2009- "This two-story, hipped-roof, brick residence has a one-story, hipped-roof ell on its side (east) elevation. A plain wooden frieze found under the wide overhanging eaves wraps around the two-story block. The primary (south) facade features a left-of-center entrance sheltered by a small, likely replacement, gabled porch with squared posts. A modem bay window is located to the right of the entrance. Shadow lines located below the upper-story windows suggest that a larger porch was once found on this elevation. Segmental-arched windows openings contain modem double-hung windows resting on painted sills. Window openings on the first story also feature decorative brickwork lintels." -"STH 96/High St Bridge Replacement", WisDOT#4095-12-00, Prepared by Heritage Reasearch, Ltd. (McQuillen), (2009). |
