Additional Information: | Another map code for this dwelling is DO 1/27, found on the DOT Watertown map. This two story side gabled house features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a brick foundation, a cream brick exterior, a wood and brick trim and a shingled gable and hip roof. Centered on the facade in the attic story is a gabled wall dormer adorned with a single circular window. An identical circular window appears on the side elevation, also in the attic story. Many of the windows throughout the dwelling are rectangular with flat brick lintels and projecting sills. A south bay window is capped by a mansard roof and detailed with segmental arched windows, a paneled base, mullions, and roof cresting. The front porch is similar in appearance to the side bay in that it too has a mansard roof and iron cresting. Turned columns and segmental arches further distinguish this porch. The residence, which is in good condition, has had an addition built on to it on an unspecified date. |
