Additional Information: | The small concrete gravity fed dam controls the water level in Clam Lake. A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. Originally constructed c. 1927 substantially rebuilt 1937; bridge deck and approaches above dam built in 1937. Dam and bridge were washed out in 1941, rebuilt. In the 1980s and 1990s the bridge was relocated over the dam outlet flume. |
