| Additional Information: | The farmstead consists of a c.1915 house, c.1920 gothic-arch barn with attached milkhouse, two c.1920 concrete stave silos, c.1920 side gable outbuilding, c.1920 single bay garage, machine shed, and two modern pole buildings. The one-and-one-half-story frame house rests on a concrete foundation and has a square plan. Exterior walls are sheathed in clapboard and fenestration consists of one-over-one, double hung-sash windows with wood surrounds. The hip roof has hip dormers on three sides and a central brick chimney. An enclosed hip roof front porch is historic and features three-over-one, double-hung sash windows and a modern two-panel, nine-light front door flanked by sidelights. A historic hip roof addition is attached to the east (rear) elevation. Barn is AHI #151562. |
