It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Original boat house burned and was replace in 1937. This is a two-story wet boathouse with a hipped roof, wide eaves with rafters and scalloped trim. The structure features horizontal clapboard siding with a small section in between the two stories of half log. The first story features two slips with paneled overhead doors. The fenestration on this story is stationary mullioned style. The fenestration on the second floor is casement. "This location on Cranberry Lake, was the site of the home's original 1920's boathouse, which was lost in a fire. This half-log sided boathouse was built around 1937 to replace the original structure. It was used as a meeting place for residents of the Everett Colony. Meetings, parties and dance were held here. It's one of the only remaining half-log sided boathouses on the chain. Many others have been re-sided during renovation throughout the years." Boathouses of Vilas County Eagle River, not dated.
