Additional Information: | 2018 This one-story, Rustic-style seasonal cabin was constructed by John Trevillian for his family c.1930. The cabin consists of two sections: a log cabin style on the street-facing side and a portion clad in wood siding facing the Wisconsin River. The hip roof is covered in asphalt singles and has wide overhanging eaves with visible rafter ends. The front (south) elevation contains a full-width enclosed porch that is clad in droplap siding that extends to part of the east and west elevations, and it rests on concrete piers enclosed with wood lattice skirting. The windows are generally paired, one-over-one, double-hung windows. The rear (north) facade features logs with rough white plaster chinking, resting on a poured-concrete foundation. The windows on the rear elevation are one-over-one, double-hung windows. The east elevation features a historic hip-roof ell and exterior brick chimney. The property also includes a c.1930 frame, two-car garage resting on a poured-concrete foundation and covered by a hip roof. |
