NOTES
Additional Information:THIS HOUSE HAS AN L-PLAN AND CONSISTS OF A TWO-STORY HIP-ROOFED MAIN BLOCK TO WHICH IS ATTACHED A TWO-STORY GABLE-ROOFED ELL. THE MAIN FACADE OF THE HOUSE FACES NORTH ONTO STH 28 AND THE MAIN BLOCK'S HIP ROOF AND OFF-SET GABLE-ROOFED DORMER GIVES IT A QUEEN ANNE STLE APPEARANCE.

WHEN THIS HOUSE WAS SURVEYED (in 2007)IT WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REMODELED AND IT WAS HAVING NEW WINDOWS INSTALLED, A NEW FRONT PORCH ADDED, AND IT WAS BEING RESIDED IN VINYL CLAPBOARDS. IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING THE OLDER SIDING WITH VINYL, HOWEVER, THE ORIGINAL TWO-STORY-TALL LOG WALLS OF THE MAIN BLOCK WERE UNCOVERED. CONSEQUENTLY, IT APPEARS THAT THE ORIGINAL HOUSE WAS LOG, THAT A LATER GABLE-ROOFED ELL WAS ADDED TO IT AND THAT THE MAIN BLOCK WAS THEN GIVEN A QUEEN ANNE STYLE MAKEOVER AT A STILL LATER DATE.
