Additional Information: | A 'site file' titled "Upper Lone Tree Farm Estate Historic District" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. IT IS NOT KNOWN IF THIS FRONT GABLE FORM DORMITORY WAS ORIGINALLY PART OF THE LONE TREE FARM ESTATE BELONGING TO VICTOR LAWSON OR IF IT WAS BUILT WHEN THE ESTATE WAS UNDER DIFFERENT OWNERSHIP. IT IS KNOWN, HOWEVER, THAT IT WAS "RESTORED" AFTER A FIRE IN 1968, AT WHICH TIME IT WAS OWNED BY THE AMERICAN BAPTIST ASSEMBLY. |
