THIS BRICK BUNGALOW STYLE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1912-1913 TO HOUSE THE FARM MANAGER OF VICTOR LAWSON'S LONE TREE FARM ESTATE. THE HUSE WAS BUILT BY THE ESTATE'S OWN CARPENTERS WHILE THE BRICK WAS LAID BY A CHICAGO FIRM THAT ALSO BUILT THE ADJACENT GATE POSTS AND WING WALLS.
