Additional Information:Several buildings are associated with the Twilite Motel complex, including a house (AHI# 147138), motel office (AHI# 147141), and motel building (this entry). The motel building dates c.1950 and is located southeast of the house and east of the motel office. The one story, side gable building has an asphalt roof and concrete foundation, and a long, rectangular plan. The motel consists of seven interior units, each with its own entrance and a one-over-one, double hung sash window resting upon stone stills. The walls are brick, laid in a running bond. 2024: This motel block was constructed in 1950. It is rectangular in plan with painted brick walls and an asphalt-shingled side-gabled roof with a slight eave overhang along the front façade. The front elevation faces north and contains seven individual doors and seven one-over-one windows. Windows are recent replacements and doors are covered by recently added storm/screen doors.
