Additional Information: | This one-and-one-half story, front gable Bungalow was constructed c.1925. It is a brick building with a brick foundation, and the walls are laid in a running bond on each exterior wall. The clipped gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles, clipped gable dormers are located on each side elevation. Windows are all one-over-one, double hung sash, and many are grouped in bands of two or three, separated by wide mullions and supported by concrete sills. Jack arch lintels of soldier brick top each window, and a flush soldier brick water table encircles the building. A hip roof portico shelters the raised entryway on the facade, and is supported by squared posts in groups of three. A detached, modern, front gable garage is located at the northeast corner of the house. A frame barn is located north of the house. It is sheathed in vertical wood, and sheltered by a gambrel roof covered in asphalt shingles. A small, fixed window is located in the gable end. |
