Additional Information: | A 'site file' (Mahr's Hillside Farm and Orchard) exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. 2007- The Hillside Farm Orchard complex consists of a house and several buildings ranging in date from c.1910 to c.1930. An orchard of apple trees is also included in the property. An apple stand is located southwest of the house and alongside the road at the front of the property. The building has a rectangular plan and flat roof with wide overhanging eaves on the facade. The walls are covered in drop siding, and there are two sets of three-part, three-over-three windows with two fixed sections and one sliding section. DOE signed 4/12/2011 Online research (MAP) in 2019 found that this farmhouse and all its associated outbuildings were demolished between 2011 and 2014. |
