Additional Information:"In 1843, Fathers Kundig and Morrisey came from Milwaukee to offer mass in the Bluffs. The first Catholic Church was built in 1853 with Father J. Doyle as pastor. When a new church was dedicated in 1867, the old church was moved and converted to a school, operating until 1906. The Parish was incorporated in 1883 under State laws. Under Father T.
