Additional Information:THE BUILDING WAS ADDED TO ON THE NORTH ELEVATION TWICE, ONCE SOON AFTER IT WAS BUILT (CLASSROOM ADDITION) AND ANOTHER ADDITION LATER (LIBRARY). IN THE MID-1990S, THE SCHOOL WAS TURNED INTO THE WHITEWATER MIDDLE SCHOOL. IN THE LATE 1990S, THE MASS OF FRONT WINDOWS BETWEEN THE PILASTERS OF THE MAIN ELEVATION WERE PARTIALLY ENCLOSED WITH NEW GLAZING AND BRICK.

"This school was originally built in 1960-1961 and was called Whitewater High School. The first addition was completed in 1962. The first class graduated in 1964. In 1993 a new High School was built and, with some modifications, this became the site of the Whitewater Middle School." Touring Historical Whitewater, n.d.
