NOTES
Additional Information:Contractor was cited as Ray J. Moths. The earlier building that this structure was built on to was demolished in 1981.

This two-story, concrete block building was constructed in 1951. A wide band of multiple-light, industrial windows wrap around the entire structure and are located near the cornice. The roof consists of two parallel gables, whose slopes are so gradual as to give the general appearance of a flat roof. The structure's north end wall is comprised of a parapet firewall where it once joined another building.

This building was constructed as a factory/warehouse addition to an existing structure (no longer extant) by the Le Roi Company in 1951. The Le Roi Company was based out of West Allis since 1916 and manufactured gasoline engines. Le Roi was purchased by the Westinghouse Air Brake Company of Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, in 1952. In 1960, Westinghouse moved the Le Roi division to Ohio, and the plant (including the subject building) was sold to the Briggs & Stratton Corporation.
