NOTES
Additional Information:Originally constructed as a bridge, it was later filled in and is now a walkway.

2018: The Honey Creek Park Bridge was constructed by the WPA in 1937. The bridge is approximately 70 feet in length and is constructed of Lannon stone with a concrete walkway in place of the original deck. Both parapet walls feature sections of vertical stone with rows of narrow openings between each stone, suggesting a stylized stone railing. Originally constructed as a pedestrian crossing over Honey Creek, this portion of the creek was filled in in the 1970s due to continued flooding. Today the bridge functions as part of a walkway through Honey Creek Park with the original bridge piers and/or abutments located below ground.
