2012: At least the stone block of the house was built in 1866 by Henry Dexheimer, a farmer. His daughter Catherine married Andrew Frank in 1873 and, that year, the town plat identifies the owner as Catherine Frank. By no later than 1880, Catherine's parents had moved to another location in Germantown. The Franks remained on the property until circa 1928, at which time the farm was sold to Leroy Roeber, who owned the parcel unti lat least 1949. In 1988, a free-standing two-car garage was erected to the east of the house and, at that time, a barn was still located to the rear of the house (the barn does not remain extant today). In 1997, the Poertner family added a sunroom to the rear of the house (south of the stone wing), at a cost of $45,000.
