NOTES
Additional Information:This house features random stone trim along its primary elevation, while its central entrance gable is entirely covered with stone veneer. This entrance is topped with a catslide roof and contains a round-arched, wooden door and a diamond-paned window. The remaining first floor wall space consists of a pair of 6-over-1-light sashes to either side of the entry, while an additional pair is located within the gabled peak. A tall, exterior chimney rises along the home's west wall and is also randomly accented with stone. Windows throughout the remainder of the house are 6-over-1-light sashes and are either singly arranged or in pairs.

The home's first owners were Matthias J. and Mary Fonk in 1941. Matthias operated Fonk's Chick Store, located at 2718 Roosevelt Road. Mary lived in the house until at least 1947, by then she was a widow. By 1950, the owners were cited as Clarence and Janice Schwaiger.
