The James and Reba Paronteau Residence is a French Provincial house constructed in 1936. It is a two-story, square plan building clad in cream brick with brick quoins. The Mansard roof is clad in asphalt shingles and has three gable dormers placed symmetrically across the main (east) facade. Side and rear elevations each have two front gable dormers. Windows in the dormers are six-over-six, double-hung, vinyl replacements. A large cream brick chimney is located on the south elevation. The main entrance on the east facade is surrounded by cut limestone. To the south of the door is a large picture window with a wood window surround. On the north elevation is a one-story brick hyphen with a hip roof. A modern jalousie screen door and windows have been added. The hyphen is attached to a one-story, two-car, cream-brick garage with a Mansard roof with two front gable dormers. The overhead garage door appears to be the original wood.
