Built for the first Village President, the year that he took office and was originally located on Fleetwood Place, next to the Village Hall. It was moved to its current location by Dr. Williams, the Village Health Officer, who acquired the property after Isenring.

The original structure was a single family residence with shingled siding on the upper levels and wide clapboard on the lower level. It has since been split into a duplex, sided in aluminum siding and, the porch roofs were added in 1983.

Isenring was Village President from 1892-1895, after which he became the Milwaukee County Sheriff. He disappeared in 1899 after being accused of embezzlement.
