NOTES
Additional Information:THIS LARGELY INTACT QUEEN ANNE STYLE FARM HOUSE HAS ROCK-FACED CONCRETE BLOCK WALLS AND DOOR AND WINDOW OPENINGS THAT HAVE EITHER STONE OR CONCRETE SILLS AND LINTELS. THE MAJOR CHANGE TO THE HOUSE HAS BEEN THE LATER ENCLOSING OF THE ORIGINAL HIP-ROOFED FRONT PORCH AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SMALL ONE-STORY REAR ADDITION THAT IS NOW SIDED IN VINYL. NO HISTORIC OUTBUILDINGS THAT WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS HOUSE HAVE SURVIVED.

THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT FOR EMIL GEHM IN 1908 ACCORDING TO THE DATESTONE ON THE FRONT-FACING GABLE END. GEHM CONTINUED TO OWN THIS FARM UNTIL AT LEAST 1924 AND GEORGE GEHM OWNED IT IN 1947.
