Additional Information:This culvert is constructed of quarried and cut stone and likely dates to the late 19th century. Indeed, the Chicago &
North Western Railroad built many of its track-carrying structures of such material. It is a relatively small, stone arch
edifice. Some stones are missing, while much of the mortar between the stones appears to be gone. This is a nominal
structure that merited surveying for the craftsmanship it embodies.
