Additional Information: | Building 601 originally was constructed as a radio range building. It is sited on the north side of the east-west runway. The one-story, wood-frame building is clad in lapped horizontal wood siding and is painted in a red-and-white checkerboard pattern. The shed is sheathed with composition shingles and has a metal eave. A single metal door and a single wood door occupy the front (east) elevation. Windows and wood vents occupy the north and west elevations. The south elevation is blind. A metal tower with an octagonal platform stands west of the building. |
