Additional Information: | Building 506 was constructed as the oil, paint, and dope storage building during the mid-1950s expansion of Volk Field CRTC into a permanent training site for Air National Guard units. Building 506 is a one-story building constructed of concrete block containing 300 square feet. The building rests on a concrete slab and has a flat roof with an overhanging metal eave. A wood double door occupies the west elevation. Single louvered vents are located in the north, east, and west elevations. |
