Additional Information: | Prominent gabled prow with floor-to-ceiling windows September 2006-This one story Contemporary house is set within the side of a hill and features a prominent gabled prow offset to the right (north). Only the south wall of the basement level is exposed and it is faced with Lannon stone and pierced by two garage doors. The remainder of the house is sheathed with vertical board siding. Meanwhile, the prow is comprised of floor to ceiling windows, a massive Lannon stone wall chimney and a slightly recessed entrance. The gabled peak projects forward and is supported by heavy timbers. The remaining portion of the house is defined by regularly spaced sliding windows. Tax records indicate a 1962 date of construction. The house was resurveyed in 2017. Since the original survey, the setting has changed significantly. The driveway that accessed 120th Avenue has been removed and a new cul-de-sac, now 122nd Avenue, was constructed behind the house. It is 122nd Avenue to which the driveway is now connected. Additionally has the frontage road, which was originally in front of the house, been reconstructed to the west. The original frontage road is now utilized as a freeway on-ramp only. There appear to be no changes to the house proper. |
