| Additional Information: | This two-story residence rests on a raised brick foundation. An enclosed, shed-roof porch fronts the entire east elevation and is comprised of short pier supports that rest on a solid brick porch wall. A continuous series of one-over-one-light sashes topped with a multiple-light transom fill in the slightly arched porch opening. A gabled wall dormer rises from the roofline. A flat-roof, open porch extends from the rear of the home. Hotchkiss purchased Harley Norris's hardware business in 1904 and ran it until 1923, when he sold the house to Michael Costello, a men's clothier, and moved to California. |
