The north half of the house is circa 1865 while the southern half is dated circa 1890. In 2006, a new cedar roof was installed, and a hand railing was added to the front porch steps. The brick chimneys located on the west elevation of the 1865 wing and the south elevation of the 1890 wing were relined and repaired. On the interior, a furnace was installed and the electrical wiring was updated.
