The main block of Type 7 homes is side-gabled; however, the primary elevation features a paired, gambrel roof projection, while each porch roof extends from the gambrel roof in a front-gabled fashion. Windows along the entrance elevation include four single openings along the first floor, while the second level includes two paired groupings. Each side wall exhibits a paired opening on the first floor, while two single windows line the upper level.
